For another glimpse of the RDNA 3 series, we look at what the AMD Radeon RX 7800 has to offer. With the latest on the specifications, release date and price of the card.
The card is meant to follow the success and popularity of the RX 6800. The RX 6000 series provides a good alternative as your second best graphics card.
With no formal announcements on the card, we’re looking at leaks and rumours. Rounding out what it has to say about the next generation of cards.
Radeon cards seem to promise an improvement over the previous generation. As well as improving Nvidia’s offering to provide some strong competition.

AMD Radeon RX 7800 Specs Rumors
Moving away from the flagship card, there are even fewer specs offered to learn about the cards. So there is probably still a lot to change until the announcement of the selection.
However, there are still some parts that can be extrapolated and deduced about the GPU.
So with that we can expect to see the RX 7800 have a Navi 31/32 chip in it. It will be built on TSMC’s 5 and 6nm process if it has an MCM design.
As AMD is unlikely to use the multi-chip design across the entire range. With the lower cards possibly still on a monolithic chip.
The RDNA 3 graphics will potentially contain 96 compute units with 9,216 power processors. Together with 20 GB of GDDR6 memory over a 320-bit bus.
With a 256 MB infinite cache and a gen 5 PCIe slot. Offers much improved capacity and speeds which we expect to see across the board.

AMD Radeon RX 7800 Release Date Rumors
There are some rumors about the release date of the next card from AMD. The latest prediction suggests that the launch of the RX 7800 is expected between late October and mid-November.
Although this has existed for a while so it is not entirely certain whether it will be kept. Especially with the current market situation.
With prices falling back to normal, manufacturers have found themselves with an overstock of GPUs. And they have slacked off in cutting them down so late in the life cycle.
But with the miners dumping their stocks with the crypto decline, there are many more options. Which means they want to move that stock before the next release.
So that means the next one can be pushed back to allow the other stock to be bought up.

AMD Radeon RX 7800 price speculation
For the next generation of card launches, we look to the past to see what to expect for the upcoming prices. The RX 6800 came out with an MSRP of $579.
While that may be the lowest expected price for the next model, it’s unlikely to stay that low. With cost increases and inflation, we expect an increase in them.
Therefore, we expect to see RX 7800 costs in the $500-$600 USD range.
